Roanoke hands E/H a 88-82 road loss. Lance Reasbeck led E/H with 24 points, 3 assists, 4 steals. Also in double figures for the Wasps were Korey Townsend-15 points, Cortez Watson-13 points and Mike Koury 11- points. Watson recorded his second double/double in a row with 13 rebounds to match his 13 points. E/H will host EMU this Saturday and then Host ODAC leading Bridgewater on Sunday.
Va. Wesleyan-110, E/H-102
E/H falls in another shootout as Va. Wesleyan defeats the Wasps 110-102. Korey Townsend led E/H with 27 points, Lance Reasbeck scored 26 and Hank Luton scored 19. Cortez Watson and Davon Jones each scored 10 while Jones led the Wasps with 8 rebounds. E/H will travel to Roanoke this Wednesday for a 7 pm game.
Rand.-Macon-140, E/H-123

Yeah, thats right Randolph-Macon defeats the Wasps 140-123 in a record breaking shootout ....... Lance Reasbeck led E/H with 29 points, while Hank Luton scored at career high 23 points. Cortez Watson recorded a double/double with 10 points and 10 rebounds ....... There were many ODAC records set in this game. For the Wasps they set team records with (65) 3-point attempts, (127) total field goal attemps and (17) 3-pointers made. The (127) FGA record was just 8 shy of the all-time NCAA record of 135 set by Grinnel ....... Individually Lance Reasbeck set the ODAC record with his (19) 3-point attempts ....... RMC broke E/H's 1984 record of 129 points scored in a game as the Yellow Jackets scored 140 tonight. Also RMC had new records with 51 field goals made and 40 assists. Philip Hawley also set an ODAC record with his 22 FGM ....... E/H will travel to play at Va. Wesleyan tomorrow at 2 pm.

E/H-71, Wash. / Lee-56
E/H defeats the Washington and Lee Generals 71-56. Korey Touwnsend led all scorers with 18 points. Lance Reasbeck scored 10 while grabbing 5 rebounds. Also with 5 rebounds on the night were Davon Jones, Will Schwartzstein, Cortez Watson and Hank Luton. E/H will travel to Randolph-Macon and Va. Wesleyan this weekend.
Hamp.-Sydney-75, E/H-65
E/H outshoot the tigers of Hampden-Sydney and accumulated only 12 turnovers on the night, but HSC outrebounded the Wasps 51-31 on their way to a 75-65 victory. The Wasps fall to 5-11 on the season. E/H's Hank Luton led all scorers with a career high 17 points. Lance Reasbeck and Davon Jones each scored 10 points. Will Schwartzstein grabbed 8 rebounds. E/H will host Washington / Lee Univ. this Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
Guilford-74, E/H-67
Lance Reasbeck scored a career tying high 23 points, but it wasn't enough as E/H losses another close game by the count of 67-74 to the Guilford Quakers. Will Swartzstein scored 8 points to go along with his game high 9 rebounds. Mike Koury led E/H with 4 assists and five points. Davon Jones and Korey Townsend each scored 7 points. As a team E/H connected on a dismal 52% (12/23) from the foul line. The Wasps will travel to Hampden-Sydney this Saturday and will return home to the King Center next Wednesday to host the Generals of Washington / Lee Univ.
EMU-88, EHC-84
After being down by 18 points at the half E/H outscores the Royals 53-39 in the second half, but it wasn't enough as E/H falls 84-88 to Eastern Mennonite. Davon Jones led E/H with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Will Schwartzstein had 12 boards and 7 points. Lance Reasbeck scored 16, Hank Luton scored 12, Paul Redgate 11 and Korey Townsend scored 10. E/H will next host Guilford this Wednesday at 7 pm.
Bridgewater-70, E/H-65
Bridgewater defeats E/H 70-65 as the Eagles go on a 16-4 run midway thru the second half. For the Wasps Lance Reasbeck scored 18 points while dishing out 5 assists. Korey Townsend scored 13 and Davon Jones scored 12. E/H will stay on the road and play at Eastern Mennonite tomorrow at 2:00 pm.
Randolph-Macon-75, E/H-65
E/H gets off to a 10 point lead at the half but could not hold on as they fall 75-65 to the Yellow Jackets. Davon Jones and Korey Townsend each led E/H with 11 points while Paul Redgate scored 10.
E/H-69, VWC-65
E/H upsets the undefeated (11-0) Marlins of Va. Wesleyan. Wesleyan was ranked #14 in the nation by coming into this game.
Va. Intermont-73, E/H-70
Gary Kerns leads E/H with 25 points but it wasn't enough as E/H fell short of the comeback by falling on the road to Va. Intermont. Davon Jones scored 11 while Brandon Reid scored 10. Cortez Watson led E/H with 11 rebounds. E/H will host Va. Wesleyan this Saturday at 2:00 pm.

E/H-96, Averett-68
E/H gets a nice win just before Christmas break as they defeat Averett Univ. 96-68. Gary Kerns scored a season high 22 points, while bringing down 6 rebounds. Will Schwartzstein swatted a career high 6 blocked shots to go along with his 8 points and 10 rebounds. Korey Townsend dished out a season high 5 assists and scored 9 points. Davon Jones collected 7 rebounds while scoring 16 points. Cortez Watson was 4 of 5 from the field, scoring 8 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. E/H will get to travel to Ireland for their Christmas Break.
Lynchburg-74, E/H-59
Lynchburg outscores the Wasps 40-23 in the second half to defeat E/H 74-59. E/H las led by Lance Reasbeck, Mike Koury and Gary Kerns who all scored 10 points. Lynchburg outrebounded the Wasps 40-34. E/H will host Averett this Sunday, Dec. 12th for their final pre-christmas game.
HSC-68, E/H-67
E/H loses 67-68 in a heart breaker to ODAC power Hampden-Sydney. Lance Reasbeck put up 23 points, while Gary Kerns scored 21 for the Wasps. Will Schwartstein collected 8 boards while swatting 4 blocks. Korey Townsend had 3 assists on the night. Freshman Forward, Davon Jones had 7 rebounds and 9 points. E/H was outshot 47% to 36% and out rebounded 41-36 in this game, but gave up only 11 turnovers. E/H will host Lynchburg College next Saturday at 2 pm, then will host Averett on Sunday, Dec. 12th for the final game before Christmas break.
E/H-80, Guilford-73
Gary Kerns scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half to lead E/H to its first ODAC win of the season. E/H is now 3-3, 1-0. Kerns led all scorers with his 21. Also in double figures for the Wasps were Korey Townsend with 13 and with 10 each Lance Reasbeck and Davon Jones. Kerns also led the Wasps with 9 boards, while Townsend hauled in 7. Reasbeck had 4 assists on the evening. E/H will host Hampden-Sydney this Saturday in a Key ODAC matchup. Game time is set for a 2:00 pm afternoon game.
Reasbeck earns ODAC Player of the Week

Reasbeck earned All-Tournament honors this weekend in the Food Country Tournament. Reasbeck scored 20 points in E/H’s 69-59victory over Centre and 10 points in E/H’s 72-59 loss to nationally ranked Otterbein in the championship game. Earlier in the week, Reasbeck scored the winning basket with 0.8 seconds left in the game as he led E/H to a 60-58 victory over King College. For the game, Reasbeck scored 18 points.

Otterbein-72, E/H-59
National power Otterbein defeat the Wasps 72-59 in the championship of the Food Country Tournament held at E/H this weekend. Centre College defeated NC Wesleyan 59-53 in the consolation game.

E/H defeats Centre 69-59 while Otterbein defeats NC Wesleyan 91-73 in the first day action at the E/H / Food Country Tournament. In Sunday's action NCW will face Centre at 1:00 pm in the consolation game. At 3:00 pm E/H will face Otterbein in the Championship game. Admission is free of charge for this weekends tournament.
E/H/Food Country Tournament
E/H to host Food Country Tournament this weekend. Play is to begin at 5 pm on Saturday as E/H will host Centre College of Danville, KY. The second game of the evening will have NC Wesleyan facing off vs. Otterbein at 7 pm. The consolation game will be this Sunday at 1:00 pm with the Championship game at 3:00 pm.

Justin Call wins 2004 Jostens Trophy
The Rotary Club of Salem, VA announced on Monday, March 8th, that Emory / Henry's Justin Call will be the recipient of the 2004 Prestigious Jostens Trophy. Call is selected as the Nations Top Division III Basketball player selected by a national panel of sports media, coaches, business leaders, community leaders and former athletes. This Trophy is based on three categories; Athletics, Academics and Community Service.

Justin Call named ODAC Player of the Year as well as ODAC Basketball scholar-athlete of the year. Bob Johnson named ODAC co-coach of the year. Ben Fisher named to the honorable mention all-odac team. 2/20/04
